Teref kassahun/kiya is an Ethiopian well known singer, dancer, song writer, director ,producer, an award wining actress, cloth and interior designer ,a teacher ,and a CEO and a founder of an NGO called “mekliten le Ethiopia” that born and raised in jimma Ethiopia in march 8/1987 she found her talent at early age back in her home town where she started singing dancing doing a circus act in circus jimma when she is done with here high school she moved to Addis Ababa Ethiopia to get more access to here talent and she have found a good teachers and an amazing mentors through her journey she have passed many auditions and life struggles to become who she is today Teref kassahun has worked in many and different company’s under different titles she has worked in* Ethiopian national theater ,as an actress on a play called “hindek” that directed by the legendary writer producer director getnet eniye
* she was A kindergarten teacher for special kids for 4 years in an international English Scholl called young roots.
*the British Dfid funded company called girl effect under a project called
(yegna girl empowerment music band) as a talent singer and actress she was one of the girl, the face of yegna from the band and have done 2 albums as a grope
*endegna is the new group that she started with her 5 friends after they left from the girl effect the grope did an amazing more than 5 songs called
